Meet Shaylee
Shaylee Galindo is a passionate and heart-centered therapist who earned her Master of Arts degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Alliant International University. During her training, Shaylee worked closely with teens, adolescents, and their families—gaining valuable experience in supporting young people through some of their most formative and challenging years. She also has a background in working at a residential treatment center focused on dual diagnoses, helping individuals navigating both mental health challenges and substance misuse. These experiences have shaped her compassionate, down-to-earth approach to therapy and deepened her commitment to being a steady, supportive presence for her clients.
Shaylee draws from a variety of therapeutic models, with special interests in Attachment Theory, Internal Family Systems (IFS), Virginia Satir’s Transformational Systemic Therapy, and Narrative Therapy. She takes an integrative approach to counseling—meaning there’s no one-size-fits-all formula here. Instead, Shaylee collaborates with each client to explore which modality and style of support resonate most, always holding space for flexibility, curiosity, and authenticity. Therapy with Shaylee is a space where humor and humanity are welcome, and where your story truly matters.
At the core of Shaylee’s work is a simple but powerful intention: to listen deeply and help people feel seen, understood, and genuinely cared for. Whether working with individuals, couples, or families, she creates a therapeutic space where healing feels not only possible—but hopeful. Shaylee believes that growth happens when people feel safe enough to show up fully, and she’s honored to walk alongside her clients as they heal old wounds, rewrite their narratives, and become the version of themselves they’ve been longing to meet.
